Default Rear motor mount

When doing a five speed from auto swap, is it safe to trust a junkyard rear motor mount. Assuming there is no tearing or visibly worn out edges. Also would the bracket be necessary to get as well when converting to the manual mount or is the auto the same. To verify, the bolt for the mount is a 12mm bolt right.

Use the correct bracket. If you can budget it, get a new mount. You don't want to do this job again, let alone when it's in the car. 12mm sounds right

yeah, I perfer a new mount. I did go ahead and get a used tranny mount though. I figure the main support for the motor will come from the front and rear mounts. When I speak of the bracket, what i was getting at, is the manual bracket and the auto bracket the same. the auto will work with my swap as it is now, but the manual has a higher torque rating which is why i am wanting to swap it out.

If you want some idea what you'll be up against if that rear mount screws up, read the little ditty I've got in my signature. I'm not kidding. It gets so bad, your G/F will give Premature Birth, and she won't even be pregnant!!! It has to be the worst vibration you could experience in a car.
-Get the new mount

I'm with P_Adams on this one.

new mount is the way I would go as well. It may not be cheap but it is a PITA to repalce once everything is in the car.......
