My 92 Honda Civic Bogs down with low rpms

Ok my 92 honda civic idles at under 1000 rpms and bogs when in low rpms, i have slow starts but then it runs great at high rpms, I was wondering if anyone could give me a hint or help me fix this or what i should check or change to get it to run great again?!? I NEED HELP PLZ

check your mechanical timing, sounds like you jumped a tooth in timing
