Default wheel stud broke

Today when i rotated the tires, i did it my self, saved 20 bucks, but anyways back to the story, i got to the front right and all them came off but one, i tried it with the wheel on the ground and off, and it woudlnt, so i sprayed some wd40 and it sat for like 30, and it still wouldnt, so i finally ghettoed it, and stomped the wrench, herd a snap and the wheel stud was broken in half, i couldnt beleive it. im tryin to replace this without lots of $$, my friend said it happen to his jeep and it was pretty expensive, any one ever had this happen to you???? thanks

Yes, go to autozone and get a hub remover. Take the hub off and bang out the broken stud and replace it with a new one. Theres a write up on it some where on here.

a new wheel stud should only cost you 2 bucks. thats how much i payed the other day for a new one. fairly easy to install. your going to have to remover the brake caliper and bracket. and remove the 2 bolts for the rotor and bang that sucka out. install the new one and reinstall everything else
