alright i keep on getting confused and the more i asked shops i get all kinds of different answers. My neighbor has already done obdo b16 swap in his crx and used everything that he got from the swap like jdm wire harness, shift linkage etc. So now i am about to buy a b16 1st gen swap obdo swap and i need to know if i can use the jdm shift linkage, wire harness, etc. I already have different mounts. Sorry if i confused anyone but i keep gettin all sorts of weird answers and my neighbor has used the jdm wire harness even though shops said u couldnt.

Using the JDM wire harness is going to be a pain to do. First off, it's made for a right hand drive chassis, so the way the harness is routed is the total opposite of how the USDM harness is. It will be much easier to use your existing wire harness and add the wires that you need.

 

understood but my shell didnt come with any wire harness so i would rather use the harness that comes with the jdm swap ill buy then spend more money. Is it that hard to do. Is there a writeup on here. I HAVE searched.

 

Well since you don't have any wire harness, your best bet might be finding one that is already made for a B16 swap. Try searching in the classifieds or maybe on eBay. Even if you have to settle for a Si harness, it will still be easier than trying to use the JDM harness. The only thing you can use off of the JDM harness would be the connectors that you will need for the engine.
