i will tell you that an rsx-s with just a CAI and the Hondata reflash piloted by a great driver can do some damage to you. i had a b18b with crower 404s and were about dead even if we went from a roll. from a dead start, i could take him...but on the highway, that thing is quick. it wasn't until i got my hondata , ERE TB, and b16 transmission that i could get him on the highway. from 45 mph to 130, the rsx-s is potent.

Exactly, we are not psychic! There are too many factors that can determine the outcome.

oh yeah, true that figure. a rsx base runs about high 15 to 16. the si is a little bit faster... a stock rsx-s should not be underestimated. any japanese 86x86 motor is capable of power if they are worked right.

lol, i hear the eracing statement, the kid we're talking about ripped a built gsr apart, put a b16 block on it "cause it'll raise the compression", then proceeded to run a 16.9 in it. hes that kid that makes u wish you didn't like honda. i was just going of msnautos factory numbers which inturn they get from the factory
rsx= 160hp, 17.21 1/4
rsx type-s= 200hp, 15.71 1/4

im not doubting anything you say, he just talks sooooo much ****.

a stock RSX-S runs high 14's. 15.7 sounds like a base, auto RSX. if your civic runs 15 flat, then itll be a good race, if both of you can drive. race him, and stop asking online. too many factors to determine an outcome.

word. take it to the drag strip, so you can see why someone lost or won. keep it off the streets.

im not really asking about the race, cause if it comes down to driving ability, that kid occasionaly misses second. im just trying to figure out what are correct numbers for that car and why the factory numbers are so high?

I know from first hand experience that a bone-stock RSX-S can hit easy 14.7's on the stock tires with a halfassed launch. Intake and exhaust can put it in 14.4 territory.

Regardless, both cars are slow, so who the expletive cares who's car is faster?

No...it was right under the post that said "Brake Light" which is almost 1/4 of the way down...to me that isn't the top. Don't think that you are the only one that can see the internet.

I'll take that as a compliment

It's not as unusual as you would think.

Yea, and if you let it die instead of making a post in the thread to ask why it's still there then it prolly wouldn't be first page very long would it?

I say if it is a red light ...and both of you go..you should easily win...however on the highway or rolling might be different...but in this game a true winner will do a dead stop run..1/4 mile you win or u lose no bull crap..rolling..
