i would say rsx-s, but 11k wont get u that... i dont think 11k will get u an si either. So i would say get a hatch then swap n boost... i would say get a gsr but then it might get stolen so....
I would say buy some hatch or somethin that runs and is in good running condition, do some small mods (ie. I/H/E) and then spend the rest on college. Then when you graduate you can buy a nicer car and do more stuff to it. Thats my plan
You're 21 and daddy's buying you a car? ****, son: get a 2000 GSR and do some suspension work to it, nice wheels, good tires and leave the engine completely stock. Drive it until the day you die.
find a 92-95 vx in good condition with a **** engine, believe me, theres plenty of them, gsr swap, suspension 1500(car)+5000(engine)+2000(suspension)+1000(minor stuff)=9500 w/1500 left for college

NO car payment while in college.
11k might get you a 99-00 Si in good condition.

I was thinking the same thing about my future boosting project.
Turbo kit - $2300
Pistons - $500
Rods - $700
Drivetrain - $ 800
------------------------
$4300
Then I though, you ******* moron, save for a house.....then I though how much houses are these days......$4300 extra for a down payment will knock a $300k house down from $1600 mo. payment to $1595
.
If I were you, I'd buy a shitbox, hit doughnuts in parking lots, roll that **** over middle divides when you need to get in the turn lane, squeeze in that 1/2 of a parking spot next to a new big-***-'05-hummer and open your door with as much force as possible, being sure to leave rust specs on his new paint for being a dick
. Go to school with that money, if you dont want to go to school, use it for other **** you NEED first.
