I was looking for coilover prices and noticed that ground control makes these for the s2k. Ive had this type of coilovers on other cars and they worked well. Has anyone used them on the S?

these are called sleved coilovers.... they use the stock shocks... however if you end up with these... i highly suggest you upgrade to koni yellows....which will run you around 400-500 bucks....

it says that the removal of the stock spring seat is required, would that be permanent? in other words, would that ruin my stock strut assembly?

 

im pretty sure lshatch had them or still does...

 

If you take off the stock spring seats that are welded to the shock body... no more stock sprins.
