super unleaded?
My mom who use to drive my 94 honda accord ex which has high miles in the 170k area said she started using the 89 because she said the engine is older and needs better gas. I just put 87 because im a Cheap basturd. The car runs great. I dont know why you would put 89 gas what performance upgrade would that be???? Just stick with 87 its cheaper and you still have a 4 banger use it as a advatage. Because once you go V6 have fun payin for premium fuel these days.
If you want to waste your money, go ahead; it won't hurt anything (and it won't help anything either)
Your engine doesn't require 89 or 92 octain (for that matter). You don't have a high compression engine.

The higher octane takes longer to burn. If you don't need it, it can burn your exhaust valves. However, around here 89 is cheaper than 87 because they use ethanol in it. I use 89 and it hasn't hurt anything. However if you don't need it and it's more expensive, it's a waste of money.

thats why your mom is not a mechanic. you'll run cleaner, have better performance, and be more effecient if you use 87, as recomended by your owner's manual

My 7th gen V6 runs on 87 octane. Which one doesn't? Buying higher octane is like buying two size larger shoes, you get more shoe, but it doesn't do you any good.
depends on what you have under your hood. upgrades will determine that. if you have a stock f22 motor, yeah, no need to use higher than 87. i only run 93 in mine but my motor is an h22. don't go cheap on your motor if you start building on it though.
honda accords prior to 2003 are not able to adjust to the higher octane fuel. If your car is not running properly try FI cleaner and cleaning the carbon from the intake.
