shift linkage question

i am having a problem removing the shiflinkage that came with my b16 sence it was cut with plasma gun any one know how dos this **** get remove i hate this *#^$%%$*#^#(*^(* **** driving me crazy

You need to use a punch and hammer to get the pin out.

Yeah there is a pin under the rubber boot, underneeth a metal clip. Just so you don't try to whack the joint with a hammer.

i will put picture of my ep3 tonite when i get pic ef9 16a1 bearly finish civic 98 B18C (5): stock daily driven soon to be tranfers to my hatch or migth sale for 4500 pm if interested pure stock.

I soaked mine in PB blaster and then took a stubby phillip's head screwdriver and hammered it out. Came out easy as cake

Get a 8mm punch - like $2 at northern tool. I got mine out in under 3 hits with a hammer.
