Default Motor Help

Hey guys what motor do you suggest would be better to boost. d16z6 or d15b ive heard they are pretty much the same motor. my plans for the turbo is a t3 im really getting into autoX and so i dont want a big turbo i want something that will spool fast. let me know what you guys think and if you have suggestions.

They are very similar, but the d15b has a more aggressive cam. If you're going FI I don't think it would really matter all that much, so just pick whichever one you can get for the cheapest in good condition.

think a t3 .57 trim is to big i want it to spool like crazy so it works well at the track for autoX. What turbo would you suggest?

I don't know too much about turbine/housing sizes really, so I doubt any info I could lend would be more than you could find on your own. Check the Forced Induction forum or homemadeturbo.com for better results.

I would think a t25 or a 16g (eclipse) would be great for what you're looking for, but don't harass me if I'm off!

i would say sc, just seems logical to me but they can be expensive. i dont know much about turbo sizing. you could try the fi forum, they are dank sauce at this kinda stuff
