Default dyno results

First of all sorry no graph yet. But got the R dyoned today and it put down 183whp/129wtq. Done on a Mustang dyno

Mods:
Password JDM CF intake
DC sports 4-2-1 header
Buddy Club Pro spec

My goal is 200whp with stock bottom end, so now what to do? I know I need a better header and cams (probably going with BC 3+) and what else?

A good tune.

Valves, springs, & retainers.

Possibly an intake manifold?

With aftermarket cams you will need a valvetrain upgrade as well depending on which ones you go with. A higher end header may net a few more ponies but nothing drastic. After a GOOD TUNE with the EMS you mentioned you should be close to 200whp.

183whp with just those mods seems really good

Personally I wanted to be in the 200whp club with completely stock internals. I've given up on that dream

I'd say ditch the header for something better. (Rhyme = 5 points)
There is a ton of untapped power just waiting in the head. If your goal as you said is to keep the bottom end completely stock, then get head work done, followed up with aftermarket cams/valvetrain/cam gears. Not only will you make more power, but you will in essence have an efficiently better engine.

I'm still up in the air as to what cams i am getting. I was looking into the buddy club 3+ but i need to do alot more searching as to which are going to be best. I was also considering the Rocket Motorsports product as well

I'm going to try to get the graph up this weekend if 2nite doesnt kill me

I was also very suprised with the numbers. I was hoping for around 175ish. This dyno was tuned to be exact with a dyanpack. Example, and escort they use for testing the dyno put down 109 on the dynapack they used to have and 109 on the mustang dyno they have now.

Hoping to have my 200whp by time the Expo hits

Good luck with your build, nice numbers. I'm trying for the 200whp mark also. Right now i'm at 196whp and 131tq.

1998 ITR swap
S2S1 cams
Dented up DC 4-1 header
RC 440 injectors (I know their a little big)
Tuned with Hondata

how were the gains from the cams? Im trying to decide what i want, the buddy club's looked good but i think they might be too mild for me to reach my goal.
What intake are you running? On the butt dyno the password cf intake made a good deal of mid range compared to the DAC that was on there.

My intake is a short ram (no namer)
All fuel, cams, and tuning got done at once
Went from 161whp to 196whp
TQ didn't move a whole lot 128tq to 131tq
With a real header I should break 200

you went from 161whp to 196whp just from cams and tuning?

what cam's?

stock valvetain?

My goal is also 200whp, ive been told that Rm valvetrain with jun 3's and some cam gears will get me there, but you seem to have hit around my goal is alot fewer mod's.
