the tps problem? help!
So i was wiring in my zex kit and had to splice into tps. I used a T-tap connector. it didn't run right so i stripped the wires and soldered them together. still didn't work. my v-afc says it will only go to 97% throttle position. I had a B18A tb on my d16 so i swapped it back out to the z6 tb. same problem. so its not the tps itself and i have the wires soldered together what is wrong? It backfires and idles at like 1400rpm.
i soldered them back together. i have desoldered and resoldered it 3 times hoping i just didnt get a good connection but still no luck. i have no idea what to do.

so i messed with it again last night and i desoldered it and resoldered it again but i cut it down further it now will go to 98.5% and it runs a little better. i messed with the ignition timing and the fuel pressure. it now idles from 650rpm up to 1,000rpm but it doesn't go up down up down it will go up stay there then sometimes drop to 650 or sometimes only like 900 it has a mind of its own. it still backfires but it doesn't smoke. I drove it around the block and it seemed to drive fine except i shut it off then it didn't want to start right away. at wot it is fine even though it is only going to 98.5% any ideas?
