Default How many Horses for these MODS???

I have a 2001 Civic EX, it comes with 127 horses. If I were to get Intake, Headers, Exhaust, and new Camshaft AND if I got my head and my throttle body ported and polished. What do you think that'll get me up to???

seriously though. get the mods and get it dynoed. each motor is different and if someone gives you a number it won't be exact sometimes it will even be way off.

Well, your car has 127 horses, but that's to the crank. Figure about 10% loss thru the drivetrain, and you'll have about about 115hp to the wheels.

Having i/h/e and the port and polish, I'd say you would get about 125-130 to the wheels, if you're lucky.

The cams will be hard to say cuz there are so many different grinds out there. You can get some that give you 2hp or some that give close to 20+hp.

that's a much better idea IMO. Don't get started up with that SOHC BS unless your ready to throw down a few grand and FI, then you have a mediocre drag car at best.

YES the b16 motor is a much better investment. the sohc engine just isnt strong enough to make sufficent power.
