K20Z3 Head On K20A2 Block

K20Z3 Head On K20A2 Block
Does anybody know if the Z3 head would be compatible with the A2 block? I read information that the Z3 head has the coolant port like the K24 head. That issue could probably be solved by just welding the port shut but I was wondering if there would be any fitment or clearence issues. I talked to the local dealership and they couldn't tell me anything or even give me advice. If anyone knows or would be able to find some info asap would be much appreciated.
