EGR Help

I have a 1992 Vx, yet my EGR, control box on firewall, is gone? It also has a surging idle, and possibly a bad EGR? Where is this located? Can I possibly be provided a picture?

CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG...

but the control box is circled in red and the egr valve is circled in white
