Looking for opinions on extending the ITB so that they come out of hood and face forward to give forced induciton affect. Any input would be appreciated

i wouldnt do it, i perfer the cleaner look. Even though that does look hella mean

You wanna know something really wierd? I was just on hmt and saw an IDENTICAL post as this one. Then I realized it was you!

 

pacmans faced that way because he had the K motor, I dont think thats what this guy is talking about.

 

and how would you stop any debris from getting in the ITB if its outside the hood? seems like a really ricey bad idea to me.

 

Ya, only stick it out if this is a show/strip car. No way can you drive it on the street, too much stuff would get into your engine. Also what motor/car are you planning on doing this on?

 

It was just a thaught, OH yah you could easily cover the ITB with some sort of mesh, not that I would drive a setup like this on the streets though
