Question about ITB
Would it do any good if on ITB you extended it so that it came out of the hood and faced forward so that you get the forced induction affect??? just curios it was something I thaught about last night. Thanks for you thaughts
so all of a sudden i seem to get no response when i talk about jdmcivic forum it only takes about 5 secounds to get some jackass to give his rude remark though

No one is being one, we just told you what would probably happen. It's very impractical, unless you have and engine with the intake manifold on the front side such as a k-series engine. Even thenn the only time i've seen itb's through the hood was on dedicated track cars.

Why is it that I can't post on any of these honda forums without someone being an A**</TD></TR></TABLE>
your problem is you don't think. Second of all, on a b-series motor if you had CURVED tubes on your velocity stacks you would have a SHITLOAD of turbulent air running into the throttle bodies because they would have to follow bends which would cause a loss in power. now you sir can kindly go expletive yourself.

, how ever if you have the itbs opening near where ur windshield meets ur hood you will see gains

werd. not only that but there are reasons that this isnt done, for one, and for 2 the majority of the time what you see is someone runs heat duct to the front of the car, sometimes in front of the radiator, but usually you see it off to the side of the radiator (like where the foglights would go on a 90-91 CRX Si bumper)
