ok i had an auto civic i changed it to a 5 speed, sis the wiring and ****.
well when i put it in 1st 3rd or 5th gear it shorts out, but only when i shift hard, and only when the car is level. when the shift lightly or shift while the car is in the air it doesnt do it. what in the expletive could cause this to happen. its driving me crazy
would it be the VSC?

 

you probaly have the wrong shift linkage.
I wish I still had mine but ever crx had to go dads rules.89 integra zc motor 5 speed try that shift linkage.

 

nope it was the negitive wire only had one plug to go from the tranny to the batt..
and not on to the frame. i got my old one off the d15 and bolted it into the frame and the tranny then pluged it in and the problem went away

haha yea that sucked trying to figure that one out. damn negative cable
