Im about to buy a lude!

It will be supercharged soon after! JR all the way.

I want advice on what to buy though,

How many miles can i put on the car? (If its been trated good)

I just want to know how long ive got before stuff starts to break...

anyone?

 

Post here what youve gotten on yours, if you have gotten over 100K miles,

and or

at what mileage anything broke or wore out at...

 

Got my '92 with 158k miles. Only had to change the timing belt, assorted seals, clutch, brakes, tires, and exhaust

 

i have a 2000 lude and it has 117,000 miles on it.... i bought it with 100,000 and in the 17,000 that ive put on it, the motor is starting to ware down. im def gonna have to rebuild the head soon. i dont drive it crazy all the time either. oh... and if your looking for a good intake to put on it, then i suggest the AEM V2 system. i noticed a real sufficient gain of power! VTEC sounded hella better to.

Ever owned a Honda? Basic maintenance and treating her good and you will be over 200k with ease. The most major things to replace would be timing belt, clutch, shocks, possibly radiator, bushings.

 

97 with 138k...but i replaced the head 1k ago.
