Default B20/VTEC numbers

It's nothing spectacular but i thought i should share my dyno.

everything is OEM built
B20B
B16 head
DC 4-1
greddy evo
2.5 test pipe
shitty autozone intake
chipped p28 w/crome

the first pull was my baseline after street tuning and pull six was after messing with fuel and timing a little bit

i still could play around with it a little more but seems ok to me....im self taught as far as tuning goes so being able to pull that amount of power i did between run 1 and run 6 is satisfactory

if you have any comments let me know

car is also for sale

VTEC can be lowered a bit, would smooth out the curve and give you a few more ponies in the midrange.

14.0 AFR's aren't exactly ideal, but the motor can survive. You would make more power in the low 13's.

What cams? B16?

really? i thought 4800 was low to begin with

i tried richen the map but everytime i did the power would fall off drastically. i need to richen the area before vtec and another area close to redline....those two spots are the leanest

and yes B16 cams

How are you tuning? Ostrich? Are you doing RTP? The motor shouldn't loose power if you are correcting the AFR's at the right RPM locations, what does your ignition timing look like?

You can tell that VTEC can be lower because there is still a jump in power and torque at the crossover. Ideally it should be a smooth line.

i see what you're talking about. its a lot smoother unlike mine. 4k tho.....with my b16 tranny on the highway at 80mph its close to 4.8k....so if i ever wanted to go anywhere i would be in vtec all day long.

im changing my map right now to do some more street tuning tomorrow.

Hey dog I don't know who did the tuning on your 1997 GSR Supercharged on 8lbs on boost, but I am sorry check my results on 96 GSR STOCK BLOCK STOCK HEAD turbo w/ 440 injectors STOCK ECU and lets see 9lbs of boost!
I personally think that I will stick to the guys at powerspeedmotorsports.com, they seem to be making some real power. Start to finsh on the car from motor, and turbo kit to suspension to 291.7whp and 214ftlbs

Make sure you arent running out of fuel. That might be the reason of the cut out and loss of power when you increase fuel. nice job for a few maps in for a new guy. :

Left field huh??? I'm sorry that you could only make 153whp with a 2.0. I made more power than that with a GSR all motor. If you were smart enough to read the message then you might understand that your tuning capabilities and pure tuning are about the same, making some great numbers!

No one here is looking for your advertising. His end numbers aren't the best, but who's to say either of their dyno's read nearly the same as yours? You want to say something about the numbers, say smoething about the numbers, don't come in here a walking advertisement because then you look like an ******* trying to scam people. Don't come in here 'representing' powerspeedmotorsports and think anyone is going to look at you as unbiased when your ******* sn is pwrspdB20v or pwrspdeg.

Douche.

keep in mind pure tuning is a mustang dyno, which dyno's 16-18% less than dynojets. thats 180 HP 154 TQ on a dynojet.
