Default Engine labor needed in So. Cal ASAP (Valve Adj.)

Anybody in the So. Cal 626 area know how to do valve adjustments? I think I need a valve adjustment and I'm afraid to drive it to the shop by the way it sounds so I'd rather have someone come down to my house. I've heard that its fairly easy and most mechanics should know how to do it. If anybody in So. Cal is willing to help me out, please let me know ASAP. Will pay of course. BTW, the motor setup is a B20VTEC with a GSR head w/ Skunk2 valvetrain.

Thanks

EDIT: Checked it out and doesn't look like a valve problem, so I still have yet to figure whats actually going on. Basically heres the situation: I start the car and just at idle theres a noise going on that basically sounds like marbles circulating. Haven't driven on it yet, just let it idle. Removed the valve cover and everything seems perfect, no signs of wear or anything. Hopefully I can find someone to help me figure it out soon

EDIT AGAIN: Well checked it out again today with another H-T user and it is definite that it is a spun rod bearing(s) Looks like I got sold a longblock with a spun rod bearing(s), which was definitely not mentioned during the sale.

Yea he came down. Set the timing and everything, but unfortunately same problem. The noise is still going on. Sounds like its coming from the head, but no signs of anything, so tomorrow I will be removing the oil pan and checking for anything out of place. Thanks again for coming down, really appreciate it, I just wish more H-Ters were more like you

So it still made the noise???? That **** aint right then. If all the valves were in spec, and play was minimal...possibly the valvesprings are too loose....LMK if you want me to stroll down again and loosen all the valves then retighten them...they may have had the right clearence but not in firing order possibly...

did you slap on a stock bottom end b20 on a gsr head with cams..... have you spinned this motor passed 7500 on several occasions? did you at least replace the rod bolts with arp rod bolts... I would check the bottom end...

I haven't even driven on this thing yet. I basically just started her up the way I purchased it and shut it off cuz of the noise. But to answer your question, yes the bottom end is stock and the previous owner said he never took it past 8000 RPM. I also just removed the oil pan right now and inspecting it very closely, I see little bits of metal in there, so it looks like the bottom end is gone

Yes it does, considering the fact that I haven't even driven this thing.

I would guess so.... The rod bolts are really the weak point in the b20 . I always replace them w/ Arp rod bolts..... But hell you can always upgrade to a GSR....

Well in my position, basically I'm fucked =\...(high school kid with no job) so any b-series block is out of the question, unless its probably a B16A or A2 for cheap ... I hate this **** man =[
