Default problems with ZC swap..

yea well we got everything in,
but for some reason. when i put it in 1st 3rd or 5th gear the lights flicker.
as if something is shorting. i have no ******* idea what is causeing this or what could cause this.
this is harder then i thought it was.

any ideas?

sounds like you have a short.

why don't you look for wires that may be contacting the shifter, shift rod, or the base of the transmission?

Something has to be haning so that when you're pushing the shifter forward, something is contacting/shorting for a split second.

its not that its something else... i converted it from an auto to a five speed.
so its gonna be something with the wireing right?
but i did everything like it said to and theres no lose wires or anything thing.
im thinking its something with the ECU

my guess would be something to do with the clutch but not if its not happening on every shift.
