Default b16a2 transmission fluid

my transmission has 76k and i would like to replace the fluid.
i heard you can use 10w30 motor oil but not sure.
i would like to use syntec gear oil. and which weight should i use and how much should i use. i think this transmission only take 2 quarts. but im not sure.
so if i jump to syntec gear oil, it wount hurt the trans.
i was thinking 75-90

I run 10w30 full synthetic in my tranny and haven't had any problems with it.

Most people on here will tell you to use the Honda MTF.

actually, although i do like honda MTF, it is only to a certain point; every to every other scheduled engine oil change.
honda mtf sheers down in weight.
for example, out of the container it's equivelant to a 5w30 motor oil...but after about 5k miles, depending on driving style and conditions, it's more like a 5w20 motor oil.

i reallllly like gm syncromesh friction modified. worth the extra dollars that it costs.

i'm curions EJPRIMO, please share with us why you like nissan mtf. you are one of the people i consider "oil guru's" here on h-t, and i am curious to find out why you like nissan's tranny fluid.
