Default any diy itb dyno sheets? real gains?

I have searched and searched and couldnt find anything on hp numbers with diy itb setups. I am very curious because i have a set and i would like to know if anyone has seen some real numbers. If you have them please post your whp gains and a quick rundown of your setup. Really interested to see what people have done!

Most of the diy itb are off of sometime of motorcycle. Most of the time they arent big enough and it hurts more then it helps. Most of the time.

Home made Turbo put some on a B16 and they made around 170 whp, the block was honed a little, they have a post on here about it, it was called the trailer park b16 or something, if i find the link i will post it

they also give you all the steps for building them

I tuned a ITR with ITBs. The graph is on my website in the dynos section.

http://www.j-k-tuning.com

PS, the dyno reads about 10 Hp lower than the one across the street ( just for the record)

I think they were CBR ITBs on his setup. If you look up user name rice4life his setup is posted in great detail on here. Just search the archives.

I have a dyno pic laying around..Ill try to dig it up... Mid range is HUGE. Top end is very plentiful

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Dibble &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Most of the diy itb are off of sometime of motorcycle. That's a very uneducated guess.

Its not just about how much air you can move...its about the speed of the air coming in...Not to mention that a byproduct of the faster air pulse brings more air in withit, ITBs also create... Fawk this. I've explained this too many times. Go do some research before you make a post.

Most aftermarket ITB kits in Europe and Japan use 42mm itbs and some use 45 and others 48...ITBs.. and with CBR itbs as well as Suzuki units having a taper, it acts as a Venturi. Which you might have to search to find out what that is, too.

CBR 954RR is 46mm tapers to 42mm. I've built a couple of sets using this method: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1008048
