Potential new owner here
Hi everyone. I just test-drove a 2001 S2k tonight and fell in love. I'm thinking of trying to pick it up if I can make everything work.
I'm rather new to the honda world (period) and am still trying to digest all the info I'm finding.
I am hoping some of the experts here can give me some insight on things I should look for, what kind of things can and "should" be done to it, etc etc etc.
I'm still browsing and lurking through the forum here, but any info you are willing to share to save me some searching is most appreciated.
Thanks!

I'm not sure if the 2001 or the 2002 was the first year with the glass rear window. Thats pretty key, because the plastic ones become really difficult to see through after a while. I can honestly say that you won't need to modify that car for a while. Its awesome to drive completely stock. I would just have fun with it for a while.
Like we tell every newbie...first off, get the car...then drive it for a few months as is, maybe invest in some track time and driving school (track school) to really learn that car's limits (since as you sit, you couldnt begin to drive the car to its potential stock, so really no need to modify it)...then, afterwards, when you've really learned the car...you'll know yourself what areas you particularly want to upgrade...some start with suspension, others with brakes, others with major engine modifications...first off though, go get the car.
