does anyone know which one is the best blow-off valve out there?

besides SOUND... does anyone know which one is the best functioning one?

 

im sure this question has been asked in the forced induction forum..
I think I read a thread just like this the other day and the HKS or whatever got a lot.
My friend has the Greddy Type S, and he likes it a lot, but its on his mazdaspeed protege.

OK- so you told him his Blitz sucks, yet you openly show that you don't know ANYTHING about this?

And by the way- from my experience, HKS sucks, Greddy is OK, Blitz is GOOD, Arc is good.
Haven't messed with Tial, but its a biiiiig name in the FI game, so logically it should be good enough. But if his is good- why replace it (RICER) ?

 

also your question is to "open" there is no best.... its whatever suits your setup and goals you're trying to reach and achieve

I have the Greddy Type-S and it is a great BOV for low boost...if hooked up correctly. My friend has the HKS SSQV and I hate it because it surges and then makes a pathetic noise when blowing off. I have heard good things about both the Blitz and Tial offerings as well.

 

i have hks it dosen't suck it dosen't leak at idle, and it blows off just fine.. and i have no compression surge.. blitz is nice as well, greddy ones leak at idle... its really your personal prefrence as to the noise u want, and if u stick with a good brand name..

Yours surges like a **** and you can't deny it. My Greddy owns yours....and it was easier to put it on.

You can't go wrong with the sound of the dying bird at idle. Now that it is hooked up correctly, I tightened it down like crazy so it doesn't leak at all.

Mine isn't cooler. It is a beat piece of ****.
