I have skunk2, stage 2 cams, titatanium retainers and valve springs. I am looking to get new valves. Obviously Skunk2. But I am looking at pictures of the oem valves and skunk2 ones. Is there any real diffrence? Thanks

 

Don't go by pictures, read specs. Weight, size, etc

 

yes... there is a big diff, the material is stronger... and has swirl polish. Personally i wouldnt go with sk2, i had there valves before, they were heavy and 2 broke on me when i had clearance issues causeing my hole bottom end to be destroyed, im runnin ferrera sport comp now and i have had no problems

 

Are you running the whole Ferrea internal set? if so what parts, how much did it cost you for the parts and did you have to makesure there was clearance before assembling to your block?
Also can you run Skunk2 and Ferrea components together or even throw Crower into the mix?

yes u can mix and match, i have sk2 valves and ret crower cam and ferrea valves, the valves were about 500, but they arent the ebay 6000 series, its the comp. series.
