i just got a harbor freight welder 151 mig. It has 3 wires green,black,white. Which wire goes into which prong on the dryer plug. I found the green is the ground and the instructions suck. Thanks.

 

It shouldnt matter. Both are supplying 110volts.. so you cant get it wrong.. Just go green to green and the other ones dont matter..

 

what do you mean green to green? theres 3 wires coming out the welder and i need to hook one up to each of the prongs theres two at the bottom on each side and one at the top that is in the shape of a L my dad said the L one is the ground. But i dont have him here to help me since hes in cali. Does anyone have a diagram of the socket in the wall or something. My dad said there should be a nuetral, ground and switch i think he said.

I understand his reply was uncalled for, but dont make it difficult for him. If all you're gonna do is say 'search' do your postcount and HTs bandwidth a favor and dont do **** at all.

Yeah i agree - sort of, but i only post a new thread when i have exausted my other sources.
