Hi, maybe this happen to any of you in your ludes, my car failed the obd NO, I think that's the chemistry formula for nitrous oxide or nitrogen monoxide can't tell because there's an x below the O. Could that be the oxygen sensor that's bad?

 

I think your Cat lowers your Nox not sure if thats the same.

 

Yeah that's exactly what they highlighted "NOx" it has an x as prefix. I'm taking it to my mechanic tomorrow to see what he says. I also notice my engine has this wierd exhaust noise very little like if there's a leakage some where between the header and the cat. Maybe that could be it. Thanks for bringing that up, I love this site

 

I wonder if I just take it to Midas "exhaust shop" or my mechanic. I'm thinking I should get a check from the exhaust shop before I let my mechanic take at look it, I just don't want him to come up with things, I only saw him once for brakes and I don't trust him 100% yet. what you guys think

 

I'd bet you just need a new cat. Our cars have high NOx emissions when our cats are bad/not there
