Can GSR valve springs handle ITR cams up to the stock 8k redline? Basically wondering if the stock GSR valvetrain can handle ITR cams just being dropped in. Thanks.

 

As long as you keep your stock redline you will be ok.

I ran GSR valve springs with ITR cams. I had a retainer split and dropped an intake valve into #3 cylinder. It was not pretty. I don't know if it was due to the different lift of the ITR cams, or if it was because I was going to 9,000 rpm's on a regular basis. What I do know is that I won't do that again. You might want to consider upgrading to type-r springs.You only need the intakes; your GSR intakes are type-r exhaust springs. They are cheaper than a new motor.FYI.
