2000 ITR Shell Caged whats it worth?
So I am thinking about parting out my car, and am wondering what everyone thinks that the shell is worth. The shell in question is PY inside and out, it has a complete SCCA legal IT class roll cage. The shell would include dash, wiring, brake master cylinder and lines, fuel lines,10 gallon fuel cell, Aeromotive A1000 pump plus filters,2 OMP grip seats, OMP 5 point belts, fire suppression system, optima battery; everything besides a motor and suspension. The shell was origionally a theft recovery, so it does have a WA salvage title.
What do you think a good listing price would be?
What about with complete suspension, axles and NSX brakes, JIC Magic FLA's, Drive Shaft shop stage 3 axle set? Everything minus a motor & ECU?

I'll give you $1500 for a spare for my H2 car.
NM, I thought it was just a shell, didn't read it had seats, fuel cell and other parts. If you want to pull all that and sell just the shell with cage let me know.

Not really , just contemplating different ideas , I love the car and the parts, but I am looking to get into something a little smaller. I have not been trying too hard, and have been dealing with a bunch of people who talk , but can not go through with the deal.

I'd think you should be able to get close to $8K-$10K, but that might be a stretch.
Try the RR/AX forum if you haven't already?

Is that with/ wo suspension? Even with suspension you would pay 10k for it without engine and trans?

For a cage and all the racing gear? Dunno. A good cage can cost $3000-$4000, seats are another $1000, Fuel cell, fire suppression system etc..
I'm not saying that the market will pay for it, and it depends a bit on how nice the cage is (NASCAR bars, etc.)... but for the right buyer, $8000 is a good deal compared to trying to build the same thing from scratch.
With suspension, etc, maybe $9K-$10K makes sense. I don't know how much sense it makes *right now* to have an IT-legal ITR, NASA H2 probably would be better, but it's likely close enough to be useful in both. Stock brakes might make more sense too.
Big caveat: You can buy ready-to-race cars with spares for that price... it's a buyer's market, so I don't know that it would really sell for that price. If you find the right buyer, it would.

Cages definally dont cost 3-4k unless you get jesse james to do it.
like i said, turbotypeR, sold his shell for 6500, which was complete, full interior everything, only missing motor/tranny
im thinking its worth around 4500ish - JIC suspension, axles

Yeah, I was mistaken, http://www.kingmotorsports.com...=2258
As an example, 8 point SCCA-spec cage from King Motorsports is $2500. (Well, unless you have an NSX, then it's $6000.)

Right on. There is a buyer for everything, you just gotta sit and wait for them.
