i just put a new type r tranny in my gsr and when i went to buy my exedy clutch and flywheel, i was told that the clutch is specific to the tranny. so he would need to get a clutch for a S1 tranny.

S1 cable tranny, thats not going to be a hydro like what comes with the 95 motor. 90-91 clutch sounds weird way of putting it. He needs a clutch for a 90-93 GSR, since thats what tranny he has.

well, dont order yet...90-91 clutches are different than 92-93.
you will need to get a clutch to match the year, so get a clutch for 92-93.

YS1 is 92-93 DA
S1 is 90-91 DA

that is why it is different for the two years...
