why are you guys laughing? all you need to do to put one on is drill the head and tap for the bolts.
we are laughing because it won't function. lets drill and tap a head to put something on that won't do anything. but we can lie that we have vtec now.
your doin it all wrong...................a little honda bond and jb weld and it fits right on there. oh dont for get to put in your power peck plus performance cams and double hump mushrooms valves

Why bother with that?
Just find any open M6x1.0 hole on the head and bolt it up for instant VTAAAACK

Or you could go the super cheap way to get your vtec. When your rpms hit around 4500 or so you can just yell out BBBWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!

Omg stop bashing on him guys. Adding a vtec solenoid to a ls does add horsepower. There an article somewhere out there that proves it adds at least 50 horses and 25 ft-lbs torque. HA HA HA

Dont forget to check your blinker fluid after installing your solenoid. You dont want to let your wabbler shaft go bad.

Why? What do you think, you'll have VTEC if you somehow attach just the solenoid to your cylinder head? You need the whole VTEC head and then you gotta wire up the solenoid, pressure switch, and knock sensor. Which means you also need a VTEC ECU. You can't just put a solenoid on there and have VTEC.
