Default 205 40 17 on teg

i have a 96 ls and i just bought wheels and tires for it. I was wondering if anyone had 205 40 17 tires on their teg. Also how does it look and feel. Pics if possible.

I will post pictures of wheels and tires when they come

I have 2054016, would that help?

If so, then the look of it on stock suspension is kinda the same as my stock 94 LS Hubs. I need a drop bad to get it looking nice. However, since yours is a bit bigger, it should cover the wheel well a bit more. Unless you are dropped.

Have not driven the car yet. Will do so tomorrow. Just got the tires mounted tonight, picked up the rims this late evening.

Here's a pic of the 205/40-17s I put on last week. My driveway slant accentuates my super awesome stock ride height so suspension is my next project.

205/40/17, Old pic, car has since changed but I'll tell you I do agree you can feel every bump in the road and when I got rid of the 17's it felt like it was so much easier to brake.

When I had my Racing Hart S7's...I was using 205/40/17 tires

Ride quality was OK. Definately felt more bumps and holes on the road..I also had rubbing issues when hitting dips on the highway and making U turns. I'm not running on 205/45/16's....ride quality has improved and tires are cheaper than 17's! No more rubbing issues either!

i was on 205-40-17s... really could feel every bump in the road. right now i'm on 14 inch steelies koz i don't have the cash to buy tires for the 17s. I did like how they looked though. oh, and many cases, tires for 16s are NOT cheaper than tires for 17s. I don't know why.
