lower ball joint
I need help very badly i have pried the arm off of the balljoint and i realized that it only can come out by hitting it up and the axle is in the way how the expletive do i get that god damn thing out im so ******* pissed sombody plz help
Easiest way to get the axle out is to put the ball joint back in, tighten the castle nut up and then follow these instructions:

Though, if you plan on doing more work on your car in the future, I strongly recommend a Helm's manual. I thought everyone else was bullshitting, saying that the Helm's manuals were so great. I thought they were overpriced until I bought one and realized it was a hell of a lot more in depth then my Haynes/Chilton whatever it is one.

use a 5lbs sledge hammer and a pickle fork $10 or use a pitman arm puller $10 from any local murrays or autozone
when you you the "pitman" make sure you leave the nut on a little otherwise the pusher part could slip off and ruin the threads then you have to take off the hub and get the lower bj replaced if that happens

after you pry it off i got that done its not like the balljoint falls out the top of the ball joint holds it in the only way for it to come out is up does anyone know an easier way then taking the axle off
it takes me 15 mins to remove my whole knuckle so taking axle out is not hard at all, biggest pain is taking off the axle nut there's 2 ways for that, 1 jam something appropriate between the wheel studs to hold the hub from rotating and use a breaker bar with a 32mm on the axle nut OR an even better way is put your wheel back on lower the car and break it that way.. on my wheels the center is open so i can do it right with the wheel on, not sure if you do.
yeh man ur just gonna have to remove the axle...aside from the axle nut it is very easy so instead of trying to figure out a way around it just remove the axle and get it done and over with...itll save u time in the end
