are civic/crx radiators the same size?
i put a civic radiator in my crx and it looks like it sits way higher!!! (i thought they would be the same size) well it looks like the radiator sits on the front cross member fine so im stumpped
Civic 3/4/5dr MT and CRX 2dr MT rads are the same part number. The automatic rads have different part numbers but should be the same overall dimensions.
Have you measured the height of your old radiator to compare with the new one?

They will all fit with no problem. The only difference is the autos have a tranny cooler at the bottom, they are also made of metal, much stronger.

Are you sure we are talking about factory radiators here? I don't think any of them are metal. However, ALL aftermarket metal radiators have transmission cooler lines since the aftermarket companies only build ONE radiator for cost saving purposes.

Actually, a 1990-1993 Integra radiator will often fit in a CRX. But the OEM Integra radiator is too tall for the hood to close. Not two inches too tall. Regardless, the pegs DO fit and the radiator will mount. Some aftermarket Integra radiators use the same core as the dual core Civic radiators and fit perfectly. These radiators make ideal swap radiators due to the dual core design AND the larger hose nipples, which accommodate B-series hose without problems.
