Has anyone ever used this clutch-XTD-STAGE-3-RACING-CLUTCH
i can't be too sure about this.. but i think this guy i talked to online that owns a tuning shop had one, and said it wasn't bad. but that's the only thing i know about them.
i'm assuming this is for the del sol in your sig? Doesnt that seem like a bit of overkill for that car? (Not trying to say your car is slow or anything...i've just always heard the one place where bigger isnt always better is the clutch and your setup with a 6 puck racing clutch seems like it would be overkill)

If it holds what they claim it will then it would be about right for your car. I cant say anything other than that cause I dont know anyone that has one or has ever used one. You should look into the Exedy stage 2, it actually only a 3 puck which is why I was skeptical at first. Thats what I had on my LS turbo for about 1.5yrs and it held up great. It started slipping after I went LS/Vtec and took it to the track...
I think I got it for like $350 somewhere, I cant remember??? At least its a name brand, and I would reccomend it to you

i personally never used one, But, i can say their customer service is spot on. we had a customer bring in a clutch for his car. we did not buy it. the box was correct but the disc was incorrect. i called them as the third party, and no questions asked, had a new disc there in a day. they get a

I am using that exact clutch on my boosted civic (except mine's for a D-series)
Holds up just fine, seems to be good quality as well. Has a little rough engagement at times but what do you expect with a stage 3 6-puck?
I am very happy with the clutch and can't complain. It also comes with a new throwout bearing and pilot bearing.
If you call them direct and use your credit card, they will sell it to you a little cheaper (about $5 difference if I remember correctly).

if you're living paycheck to paycheck, there are more important things you should be doing than modifying cars. As soon as I hit fiancial issues, I put my car to sleep. I am not loosing my house over a damn headlight or clutch.
When my financial situation levels off, I start up again slowly.
Not knocking the company (XTD) as I have never run their stuff. I use ACT because I got a good price from robear racing.com

I've been trying to research these, but still no luck. Someone in another forum said that these are cheap because the pressure plates are not heat treated. (although the auction for stage 3 says it is) I tried calling them but the line is either always busy or it just rings... I let it keep ringing today and someone finally answered. They spoke very broken english and we couldn't really understand what each other were saying... I kept asking "who manufactures these?" and he kept saying "they are mix parts, some made in Japan some made in US" Then he said "XTD" and then he said he didn't know and I would have to talk to his boss "Jimmy" who would be back later. I was going to ask if the pressure plate was heat treated and if their 8 lb flywheel had replaceable friction surfaces just to make sure but doubt the guy I talked to would have known. I think I'm going to go ahead and order the stage 3 w/ 8'lb flywheel. the # is 1-800-594-0825 if anybody is wondering. Also I didnt find anything out there about their stage 2. I did find that someone on here had their stage 1 clutch and it fell apart. But I have yet to read anything bad about the stage 3 when properly installed w/ a new or resurfaced flywheel.
i getting one to but stage 2 i heard real good stuff even heard its like the same thing to act clutch but i dunno imma get one not bad for the price
dont get that piece of ****, mine didnt even last a year, before the diaphram wore out, see full story herehttps://honda-tech.com/zero...age=2 scroll all the way down
