Default prelude speaker question

do the rear deck speakers in 92-96 preludes have some kind of speaker bracket for them? cuz when i got mine there wasnt anything there. and if they do, do u know where i could get my hands on a set? THANKS

I don't think the rear deack has a bracker for the speakers, but the doors do. I took the speaker apart before, but I think it just bolt onto the metal frame.

The speakers are mounted to a frame that has 3 bolts that are supposed to go in the rear deck area. It's like one of those door chain lock type (sorry for a lack of better words), but to secure it tightly would require nuts on the other end of the bolts. I just left it there, and I haven't had any issues with rattling or anything.

the rear speaker brackets are labeled as numbers "6" & "7".
Here is a picture of an infiniti 6012i speaker mounted on the bracket.

There are OEM stock speaker covers for the rear deck speaker bracket but i chose to use the aftermarket one. As far as where to find the brackets, i bought mine from eBay, but you can try ordering some from the link i listed above.

There is a bracket, which you can see in the pic above, which is just a rim, no basket. It is necessary for a flat mounting surface because the deck is slightly curvy.
