Default weird 2 gen teg !!!!!

well the other day my alternator went out on me so i got under the car and changed it and fixed it the only problem is that i had the whole car on jack stands so i go turn on the car and when i realized the font wheel start turning so when i go stop the left wheel it stopped but the right one stopped but then slowly stared again turning. i dont so if any one knows whats going on please tell me.....

oh and the car runs ok no complaints just that the

were the wheels slowly turning? i'm assuming so if you stopped it with your hand. if i'm not mistaken, wheels have a natural tendancy to turn freely when the car idles. someone please correct me if im wrong or give a better explanation...

i have this understand as well. i think they spin backwards or something like that? i remember we started my friend's prelude on jackstands and we were thinking wtf? is it supposed to do that?

When I had my DA, 90 Integra rs Up on jackstands with axles out,
wheel etc... out I turned the car on.
I looked in and the shaft was spinning, not in gear, just idle.

So I would guess this is normal,

the reason one wheel was turning while the other wasn't was because you have an open differential in your transaxle. this is normal...

It rotates because the fluid inside the tranny is moving around and that movement is enough to move the wheel when no resistance is applied to it.
