Anyone not have a carpet? Heres a solution.....
My car had a tiny leaking problem and of course the water would get on the carpet and began to stink in the car...well actually it stunk when i got her...so i ripped out everything that was cloth/foam...andd yeh..anyway here:
First remove the seats:
Okay so this is how she looked:
Use Wax and grease remover first on the floor surface:
Then you gotta get some of this stuff:
BTW it says to sand the surface with 180 grit sand paper but yehh...i didnt feel like sandin the entire floor first....so i just sprayed it on after it was clean...
Start to spray her on....I threw on two nice coats....
Half done...didnt take pics of the other sides because i hadda run to queens in between and it was dark when i got back...
Yeh I'll get a pic or two of it with the seats in, but its alot better than before....and I kno i kno about the door panel, i havent found another black one yet.....
EDIT:
Here is the finished product...worldss better:

I would have scuffed it first to at least knock off the gloss for better adhesion. I did that to my CRX without scuffing and when it got real hot it started peeling up, hope your's holds up.

replacement carpet brand new is available for 200 bux...it sucks when it is cold and you have no insulation from the elements. and the car gets all loud from road noise...but kudos for using bedliner for the interior.
If you are so worried about the noise, u can get tar spray that they use for the underside of the car. That reduces the noise and leaves a mat finish. Thats real smart tho, i like it. We need pix with it all finished.
adding all that tar stuff adds weight to the car. interior carpet makes the car feel more comfortable and offers noise and temperature insulation. my other civic had no carpet and my feet almost got frozen to the floor board when i was living in alaska. i'm not knocking the man's idea, im just saying if you think it is expensive to replace carpet, its not.
haha this is the first civic i heard of doing this...other than myself. onli difference is, my car is my racer and totally gutted out besides panels. i used herculiner bed liner instead of that can stuff, mostly cuz i thought itll handle better. it comes as a kit with a scuffing pad, rollers, paint brush for tight spots, and the chemical that you just roll on. it makes a gutted car look very clean.
about him getting replacement carpet for 200, thats a waste. itll get wet again, just as he said he has a leak. with bedliner in the car, all you have to do is wipe up any water u find after those rainy days.

Good idea. I did it to the trunk in my last Civic. From experience I'll tell that stuff will start peeling in no time from not sanding.
Looks like **** with paint on it to me. Can't blame you if you have leaking problems though.
Sorry, just thought I'd throw in an opposing point of view.

I personally can't stand the look of the carpet that came stock in my hatch... tall, shaggy, and catches every piece of rock, gravel, ash etc. Looks like crap in about a month. Even after vacuming forever, there'd still be crap stuck in my carpet. Good work
And don't worry about the door panels
My car came w/ all white door panels and an entirely red dash. Still hunting down random pieces here and there.
