need help

Default need help

just put a b18a1 into my 89 civic hb si. it is all wired up. and it will not turn over for some reason. just clicks like either the batterys dead or the started want go. but battery good and so is starter. can anyone help me.

it might be something as stupid as not having the spark plug wires in the right order on the dizzy. have u tried that?

having the wires for the spark plug backs wards would make it so it wouldn't fire. that messed up first time i hear of that but thanks i will try it.

checked those and checked the spark plug wires. i had someone else try cracking it just now and the click i dont' hear anymore but i hear like something is leaking out of the intake maidfold

you "hear" something leaking? Check all your hoses......make sure there isnt any leaks befor you try to start it

i tired can't find it. not sure if i have the wiring right. someone told me to take the harness off my si and put it on and should be good to go. not sure if i have to change the ecu too. not going to lie don't now much but i now a little. lol

UH-OH. Well first I hope this isnt your daily driver, second if it isnt, then take your time and figure everything out step by step......you dont want to rush into things and screw stuff up

Your check engine light blinks 8 times? Well get the manual that will allow you to figure out what that means and go from there. At least that is a start.
