All, since Acura cannot figure out why my battery gets drained every 3 days, I thought I ask here and may be some one has run into this before!
Here are some details:
Mods installed; Clifford 10.5x alarm and an Alpine head unit.
When I bought my car I drove it around everyday until the thanksgiving week when I went on a vacation, after not starting the car for 3 days, my car would not start at all, it wouldn't even click, I gave it a jump start and everything was fine! took the car to the place I had the stuff installed they could not find any negative draw on the battery. Took the car to the dealer and they said the alternator is bad, so they replaced the alt and the battery under warranty. Well, I went on vacation again last Saturday and came back on Tuesday, again the battery was drained, the panel lights would come on and after a click the car would not start. Took the car to the dealer this morning they ran all kinds of tests and could find anything wrong!
now I am supposed to get it towed to the dealer next time it happens!
There car is fine if I drive it every day, even after sitting there for two days it's fine, this happens only when it's not started for 3 days!
