Cut twist and tape if it's the wrong one....That's what I would do.
If you don't want to chance it, I would get a pinout diagram from someone. I don't know if that would be in the Haynes or Helms, some **** like that

You're right, it does have it's own connector that's located at the horn. If you've ever took your OEM steering wheel off, you'll notice you'll have to remove the SRS spinning loom that sits behind the steering wheel. That has a wire within it that makes the horn work, and the SRS cable wheel is connected to the SRS wiring under your dash.
There are 4 wires that make up the SRS wire loom. One of them is for the horn. Does anyone know which wire?

The wire for the horn is not in the SRS wire loom (Which should be bright yellow.) It's located in a diff bundle of wires underneed the dash. Not sure where tho'.

Then please explain to me why the horn is connected to the SRS cable reel, and the cable reel is connected to the SRS wire loom. Thanks.

You have a 96-00 civic correct? I don't really know what EJ is...
All you have to do is cut the wires one at a time and ground them some where, usually the metal around your hub is fine, that's what I did. If you the right wire correctly the horn will honk and you'll know its the right wire. When your done, just solder and heatshrink the wires and your as good as new.
I have a probe with a really fine, sharp tip, that you ground to any metal surface and then poke at each wire til' it lights up and honks. I forgot the name but I know its some kind of tester.
The horn wires are always hot so as soon as you cause the wire to ground it will honk.
Might sound confusing, but it's the only way I could explain

I have a 92-95. Any coupe is an 'EJ'. And yes, that makes sense. And I don't want to go cutting random wires. It pisses me off when people say stupid things like that, if you cut every wire to find out which was the one you needed, you wouldn't get anywhere at all. I want to know the EXACT wire that my horn is wired to.

So me trying to help you with a logical explanation and answer is stupid. Some people don't mind doing the extra work, I don't, but here's the info you'll need for your generation civic. The seperate wire out of the 4 you see should be the wire. Here's the website,

that would be called the cable reel.
