Default safety21/Cusco question

Does anyone Have any experrience with the 4 pont safety 21/cusco cage. I did a search, but I got nothing. I am wondering if it fits under the softop, and if the softop is still functional with it in place? I only pics pics with hartops.....and since I am not getting a hardtop until next fall....... Any pics would help too. Thanks

cusco cage =

not certified by scca or nasa.... the roll bars will work with the softtop.. if you get the full cage, i believe they work also not 100% on that one tho... but you don't want it for a street car cause it will break your head open if you wreck....

I know they are not certified. I do think it would help in an accident...... the Mugen roll bar is like $1200...cUSCO AROUND $400. Just a thought.

Cusco bar is like... buying your girlfriend sexy lingerie. It looks cool, but it doesnt cover **** when you flip her *** over and nail her.

you don’t' need a roll bar to protect you in a rollover... the two hoops behind you have bars in them that prevent a complete crush during a roll over.. also the windshield is fortified to not collapse during a roll over...

have you seen pictures of s2k's being rolled?? all you need to know is the tuck rule... if you can tuck.. you'll be walking out of the roll over with a couple bruises here and there....

You also need papa5murf's big head, but so much for the tuck.

or elda if you can find one.. which is scca approved.... however.. scca has changed some rules here and there and i'm not sure if the bar is certified anymore...

It does look preety good....I am not really one for buying something with out any function. Who knows.. Maybe I will get it anyway. I mean it could be useful in the event I decide to park, put the top down, and have a nice lady on my lap!!

If she's on your lap, she'll hit her head on the cusco bar. Elda/LoveFab you'll be ok.

busting out the humor today...lol

saftey 21 is cusco, and the saftey 21 products are steel and certified for track use...they are solid black also

a normal chromoly blue cusco cage won't do crap, but bling...

no roll bars whatsoever, This guy had the worst crash ever, was touched by a BMW X5 at 100 mph spinned over the lane separator into a light pole tumbled over many times before diving head on into a car at the opposite side of the road......huge, huge crash .I know this guy, and he walked out of the hospital with fairly light injuries.....speak of a good car!!

I think that's when they stopped making S's out of paper.

I noticed headlight washers. Damn crazy Euro drivers.
