Default LS Swap in 90 Rex. Axle Question

Yea i know this has been asked and I have searched before but went to search again and it was down as usual. I'm swapping an B18B in my car with a B16 cable tranny. My car is a 90 DX. What axles do I need for this swap?

well I can tell you this, I was going to use the intermediate shaft from the B18C block that I have, but the shaft won't bolt on correctly while fitting into a cable trans.

So in terms yes you need to use the 90-93 Integra shafts and the cable transmission intermediate shaft (which has the female socket).

now if it was a a hydraulic trans then you'll need to use the 94+ shaft and intermediate shaft.

so 90-93 axles and intermediate shaft. Do I have to change hubs or anything?

what?!?!?!?!?!

hell yeah you do... you can either use 90-93 integra hubs, or 90-91 civic si hubs... integra axles will not fit into stock dx hubs... already tried...

and BTW, im running DA (90-93) integra axles in mine now, but ive heard using 86-89 integra axles are a lot better. i heard they hold up better and dont snap as easy (because of the way the axle is angled) but thats just what i heard...

good luck on the swap, im finishing my b18a into my std hatch now... shes running finally

you might not need a hub swap...

gen2fanatic has a std and needed a hub swap, yours might be a regular DX which has the si hubs...

Thats not true,,DX/SI hubs work fine..The STD and HF hubs are the ones that dont work because they're smaller..

And as far as the passenger side you can use any 90-00 integra axle..The driver side you have to match the axle with the haflshaft..Best thing to do is get the 90-93 halfshaft and 90-93 driverside axle..
