89 CRX SI wiring & batt issue
So i recently bought a 89 CRX SI, theres a few problems with it. I placed a new battery in it and 2 days later, it was dead. I rarely drove it around at all due to the headlights not working and a few other problems.
I have a few questions.
1.) Does anybody know of a site that will guide me through wiring the headlights correctly? the wiring on the crx is all screwed but i do know the lights themselves work.
2.) I noticed the ground wire was wrapped around the Battery's strut( the metal plate that the battery sits on) and it's not leading anywhere else, i thought maybe this was due to the battery being dead and dying even when i had the car idle.
3.) speedometer isn't working, i think i can work this issue out myself but if anybody has any clues as to some of the reasons, please let me know
To tell you the truth, i don't know much about cars at all so i have to rely on distint friends to help me out. it's extremely appreciated if anybody could help me out with these issues.
thanks.

Get a chilton, haynes...or better yet a helms manual. These should have wiring diagrams to help you out.
As for the speedo, check that the cable is working correctly. If it has broken, the speedo will not work. Your car has a mechanical speedo, so the wiring problems are probably not the cause....unless your guage cluster isn't getting juice.
