Need Unbiased Opinion about Shocks with coilovers
Sup guys, I'm currently running Dropzone gas shocks and Dropzone adjustable coilovers. I have it dropped ~2 inches, however the ride quality completely blows.
What kind of shocks are best for a normal 2 inch coilover setup? The roads in New England suck, so ride quality is very important. I also would like to spend under 350$ for a set of 4.
Are the coilovers or shocks causing such poor ride quality?

The shocks will determine the ride quality. To pick a shock, you need to set your mind on a spring rate also.
I would recommend the koni yellows. I have them and when on all the way soft, rides very close to stock

I'm going to second the recommendation for the Konis. You don't want to skimp out on shocks. Also, what are the spring rates you're running? Not all shocks can handle all rates, and you should make sure the shock can handle both the desired ride height and spring rate before you buy. If the shocks don't provide enough damping for the springs, you'll bounce all over the place.
I would look into:
Tokico Illuminas
KYB AGX
Bilstein (maybe? I don't know anything about them)
I'm currently running 400/400 GC springs with Koni Yellows, and I have to go with 1 full turn from soft rear, 3/4 turn from soft front, to keep the car from bouncing.

As others have said get the Koni Yellows. They are amazing shocks and can handle drops over 2in and up 600lb spring rates without revalving. Do yourself a favor and save up a little more and buy the Yellows.

I had the tokico illumina's before.....they were nice, but it took me a while to dial them in. When I matched them up with weapon r coilovers, the car rode like POOP (on the stiffer side), then I tried the skunk2 coilovers...a little better, but got too bouncy for my taste, then i tried ground controls. Ride quality was better, and a lot easier to dial in for my type of driving style. SO, in the end, I'm now using the TEIN HA set up. Sure its more pricey, but I definately think its worth it. IMO, its not worth going cheap when it comes to suspension...then again, I'm just picky. Maybe look into AGX or Tokico Blue's
