Default energy suspension bushings

whats the best way to take the olds out can i burn them out if i cant get them out?

i used grilling bricketts ...got them nice and hot...put the piece on and burned the rubber out...then took a hack saw to the outer metal sheeth jus enough to cut through and poped it out with a screw driver.....i had a vice to help me install the new bushings

drilling the rubber out is def. the easiest. trust me i did rear trailing arm bushings, an air powered hack saw couldn't even do it. i drilled the bushing out then the left over rubber i took the dremel to. you can burn them out but i would only do it if the entire part is off of the car. the rubber won't just melt it will catch on fire.
