if you want it to be slammed you will have to reindex the torsion bars, which means removing them, filing the double tooth down on the torque tube, and then reinstalling them 1-2 teeth lower

as it stits stock you will only get about 1-1.5" drop lowering them all the way

Jump under there and back the torsion bar nuts down until the nut is flush with the end of the bolt, no lower that would probably be dangerous.

^ I did this with my '87 HF and it was the best handling, tightest cornering car I've EVER driven. Had it for almost 2 yrs without any problems.

The back is a whole different deal. When I had mine, I only found 1 set of rear springs made for it. Eibach, and they only lowered the rear about an inch.....maybe less.

You could always cut them if you want a snowplow.

*Edit, I see you're in Cali. I mean sandplow.

yea dont do this, thats utterly retarded and would pretty much make the car ride on the struts alone, and has the possibilty of ripping the torsion bars out of the car if the arms contacts the ground

http://www.mullinator.com/crx/tech_tbar.html
thats how to install aftermarkets but you can do the same Indexing to your stock ones and get a lower drop

No pics sorry.....but if memory serves I'd say it's more like 2" at the least, I think mine was more in the 3" drop range.

Just do it and find out. It's seriously a 20 minute project for both sides. Like factory coilovers in a way
