problem with 89 crx si

everytime i stop the car, it keeps revving to about 1k then drops then revs again to 1k then drops. how can i fix this?

sounds like a IAC problem. or maybe your TB is leaking. i had the same problem with my lude and i swappped the intake mani. and is quit. a honda shop and they were telling me crazy crap like EGR and MAP. i guess you can check those too...

yeah probably IAC valve, i had a similar problem with my 95 ls.

Idle Air Control Valve... its right on the back on the manifold and has a plug into it with two wires...

definatly sounds like the problem... is it on the stock motor??
